About ALAAI
Ateneo Law Alumni Association (ALAAI) is an association of the alumni of the Ateneo Law School which was founded in 1979.
Our Purpose
To help the Ateneo School of Law in the achievement of the noble ends for which it has been established; to provide financial support, within the Philippines and abroad, for studies of selected students of the Ateneo College of Law and for the attendance of local and international conferences by qualified and competent scholars in the legal profession; to provide for a forum for the discussion of law, jurisprudence, law reform, pleading, practice and procedure, and the relation of the Philippine Bar to the Bench and to the public, to establish legal aid offices and set up lawyer reference services throughout the country so that the poor may not lack competent legal service, and in furtherance of the same.

PROMOTING PASSION FOR JUSTICE. Form together with the Ateneo Law School, men and women skilled in the art of the law and dedicated to the Jesuit ideal of service to others particularly those in the peripheries.
RECONNECTING ALUMNI. Reach out to generations of law alumni in fellowship and provide the fora for exchange of ideas towards the enrichment of law and jurisprudence.
ADVANCING LEGAL EDUCATION. Partner with the Ateneo Law School to provide mentorship, and linkages to networks of alumni and students in pursuit of academic and professional excellence.

Our Committees
Awards Committee
Oversees the selection of recipients for awards and honors to be granted by the Association, subject to the approval by the Board of Trustees.
Chapters Committee
Coordinates and oversees visitations to ALAAI chapters across the country.
Election Committee
Manages all matters related to board elections and the formation of new leadership.
Homecoming Committee
Organizes and oversees the annual Alumni Homecoming event.
Jail Decongestion Committee
Oversees jail visitation programs, recruits volunteer lawyers, and seeks sponsorships to support the project.
Membership Committee
Engages alumni across law firms and government agencies, provides member benefits, and drives growth with a goal of increasing active lifetime members.
Oversight Committee
Reviews and improves ALAAI policies, manages legal documentation for compliance, and oversees amendments to governing rules and award criteria.
Public Relations and Information
Coordinates with partner institutions and manages events to promote ALAAI’s programs and increase public awareness.
Scholarship Committee
Handles everything relating to scholarship program of the association.
Special Projects Committee
Coordinates and seeks out funding for special projects of the association.
Way and Means Committee
Develops and implements fundraising initiatives, secures sponsorships, and ensures financial resources to support ALAAI’s programs and projects.
